Little Bay is a northern-coast landscape stop rather than a polished visitor beach. Waves meet rock and cliff, creating blowholes and sea spray when conditions are active.
Read the beach before choosing the beach
Little Bay is a raw north-coast viewpoint where waves have cut channels, platforms and blowholes into the coral limestone. On energetic days the sea announces itself through spray and sound long before visitors reach the edge. There are no beach-club cues telling you where to stand or what to do; judgement matters.
The best version of the day
Add Little Bay to a northern driving loop with River Bay and North Point. Wear shoes with grip, keep children close and choose a dry viewing position well back from the edge. The stop can be brief, but photographers may want longer as light and spray change constantly.
Visit if you enjoy quiet road trips and natural coastal features. It is not the right choice for facilities, easy swimming or anyone expecting a resort atmosphere.
Where it may disappoint
This is not a place to descend in search of a hidden swimming cove. The terrain is uneven, facilities are absent and the Atlantic is exposed. Avoid wet rock and do not approach blowholes or cliff edges for a dramatic photograph.
Keep a generous distance from cliff edges and wet rock. Sea spray can make surfaces slippery long before they look dangerous.

Conditions can change quickly. Follow flags and lifeguards where present, ask reputable local operators and do not enter water that is beyond your experience.
